Before the Storm

Storms have always fascinated me. The lightning, the thunder, the rain. It is just so beautiful, especially the clouds that form before and after it.
I guess it's kinda obvious that we have had a stormy week. And more storms are to come... but it's fine with me!

 They look like waves...

The sun shone as long as it could just before the clouds swallowed it's light and burst it through their vapor like beings.

Isn't the sky just so beautiful and amazing! All of God's creation is just so eccentric to me, but the heavens, I think, are the most epic in my eyes.
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Psalm 19:1
How true this is! :D

Odds & Ends {6}

Despite the chilly weather, I decided to venture outside with my zoom lens and find something to capture...
The sun was out and the sky was an extraordinary blue.

 I followed the same robin around, just watching him. He waited patiently for me to snap a couple pics before flying  away.....

 The sky has been grey, cloudy. The sun has not been out... But we have had a few days of straight sun and blue sky! I was rather excited, I just cant wait till Spring!

Have you had any sunshine? Are you ready for Spring?

Hagen

Odds & Ends {3}

As you my have noticed, I am way behind on my posts. I am sorry.
But I have a good excuse. I have been busy learning lots of new thing. I  have learned that I can not take "Double Exposure" shots on my camera, which I am really bummed about. But I have found a way to overlay images on PicMonkey, which is similar to Double Exposure, just not as cool... I also found out about Highlight Priority, my new best friend...

So....
Lets cut to the chase....

 Bokeh... I didn't add it....

 Icy trees...

Snow Flakes....

I new they are few, but I hope you enjoyed seeing them...
Of course the ice and snow has long since melted, but it was still just so beautiful. Especially when the sun came and all the trees glittered silver in it's rays....

Hagen

Snow...

Is it here? Is Winter really here? I believe so! The ground is white, millions and millions of little snowflakes cover it. They stick to my eyelashes and crunch beneath my feet. Balls of snow fly through the air and the snowmen stand resplendent in the yard.

There is not much else to say. The snow is to beautiful for words....

Fog....

The beauty of the fog in the morning is mysterious... You never know when the it might lift.

When you look and see the sun's beams flowing in through the fog you wonder where the sun is lurking. You wonder where he might be hiding. But than suddenly you see. He's only dancing behind the clouds that have come to rest across the earth.

And as the morning grows old and noon comes around, the fog begins to lift. The blue sky peeks out and the orange and yellow leaves shimmer in the sun light. The trees stretch, reaching to the sky, dancing in the wind
knowing the fog will be back next morning.
